Version 88 and also 88/2 just came in stainless stole finish. They likewise had a 2 or 3" barrel. Rossi did make the "Rossi dual Action Revolver" which has actually no design number. It was 5 round in the 38 unique caliber, came through 3 or 6" barrel, adjustable rear sight, addressed ramp layout front sight, blued or nickel finish, timber or plastic grips, and was produced from 1965 to 1991. I think I"ve reply my own question about the design of the gun i have. Based upon the attached picture, I believe I have actually a version 68. Mine gun is similar to this other than that that is nickle plated (and has a practice grip). I"ve discovered several models the end there that look a lot favor mine other than for one major difference. On mine gun, and the one pictured, the cylinder release button is a series of round circles. I"ve not viewed that in any model various other than the version 68.http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m207/tncruzin/RossiModel68.jpg
